How-To-Use Facebook To Host your blog/website Images And Get Unlimited Bandwidth

INTRODUCTION

Some of you must be maintaining one or many blogs or websites. The common problem many web masters face is on where to host their images used in their blog/websites. Some websites offer this service but with limited bandwidth, some have paid services, some have limited uploading facilities. So to get a service which gives both i.e, unlimited hosting and unlimited bandwidth is hard. But no more. You can either use Facebook or Blogger to host your images and CAN GET DIRECT DOWNLOAD LINK OF YOUR UPLOADED IMAGE.  These two websites provide both unlimited hosting and unlimited bandwidth. So you can go on uploading unlimited photos and can use them anywhere on internet without restriction.

Here you will see how to upload your photo on Facebook and use it somewhere else like your blog or website with unlimited bandwidth and hosting.

Step 1 GET FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

I think many of you must be having a Facebook account but if not then have one here.

You will need to register by providing your name, E-mail ID and other information.

If you already got Facebook account then just log in.

Step 2 UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO

How-To-Use Facebook To Host your blog/website Images And Get Unlimited Bandwidth

Choose Photo and then click on “Upload a Photo”

Choose your file and then click on “upload” option.

Your photo will start uploading. Uploading time will depend on the size of the image. Lower the size faster the upload and vise-versa.

After you have uploaded your photo, click on the thumbnail size of your just uploaded image which will pop-up as soon as upload is finished.

Step 3 VIEW YOUR PHOTO ON FACEBOOK

I uploaded a Facebook logo which I created in Photoshop CS5 myself.

How-To-Use Facebook To Host your blog/website Images And Get Unlimited Bandwidth

Even if you upload very high-resolution photo, here it will be visible to a limited size.

Now you need to get the Link to original photo you uploaded. You can copy the link from the tab “Download In High Resolution”

See image below to understand what I mean:-

How-To-Use Facebook To Host your blog/website Images And Get Unlimited Bandwidth

Just right-click on the tab “Download In High Resolution” and then click on “Copy Link Address”

This way you will get link to your original photo and can share it anywhere in high-resolution size.

For example, The direct link to the image I uploaded is this:-

http://hphotos-snc6.fbcdn.net/172478_126225954118006_100001918052664_175109_2474472_o.jpg

Using this link you can download the same image which I hosted on Facebook and view it, even if you are not in my Facebook friend’s list. :) More over you can use this link to show images on your blog or on your website without any hosting charges and get unlimited bandwidth.

Step 4 USE YOUR PHOTO ON YOUR BLOG OR WEBSITE

Blogger is the best website to have your own blog. You can now directly use your photo link and use it as anything on your blog, Like you can set the image as background, header image, footer image or just include the image in between your posts.

Just include the url of this photo in your blog or website HTML:-

or it can be anything like <img src=”http://hphotos-snc6.fbcdn.net/172478_126225954118006_100001918052664_175109_2474472_o.jpg&#8221; />

It greatly depends on your taste.

Here is the how I uploaded an image on Facebook and using it on blogs:-

I used it here http://fearlesshackers.blogspot.com

CONCLUSION

Now you can easily host your photos for your blog/website without paying any cost. Thanks to Facebook.

Happy Uploading.

Click the header link to view it on the original site, but I had to share this as it was an old hack I learnt from my day of media piracy, where I would host my blog’s images on Facebook using the blog’s Facebook page, oh and you can also do this using Pinterest and Google Plus

A Real Man Treats His Lady The Same Way He Wants Another Man To Treat His Daughter

Sorry again for not posting yesterday;

Now down to business, this quote is pretty self-explanatory, Treat your lady like how you would want your daughter to be treated, so that means, no playing around with other women, or abusing her. And ladies it goes both ways as well treat your guy the way you would want your son be treated by his wife.

Music Is What Feelings Sound Like

This is probably the best description that anyone can use to define me, you can tell the mood I am in by the music I listen to, and it is also why I am a music addict. But seriously you know when, you listen to a song and the lyrics basically describe everything that you are currently going through, it could be relationship problems, your finances or just random stress, for that 3-4 minutes all of it just disappears into the music, and you suddenly feel better.

Quote #144 True Love & Loyal Friends | February 16th 2013

It’s another Saturday (woohoo it’s the weekend!), despite going to bed late this morning, I had to get up to buy gas, there were no running or any shenanigans luckily, I went, I waited, I bought gas. When I got through with all of that, I relaxed for a bit but didn’t go back to bed as the sun was already up. I ended up making breakfast and feeding the dogs before I went out to wash my clothes.

Since I wasn’t really in the mood to do a big washing, I left the sheets and towels for the next week and washed my school clothes and underwear alone. I never finished until it was 2, at which time I jumped online and browsed for a bit, but before I could even get bored it was 4 and I had to go to youth meeting.

I remembered that this week’s youth meeting activity was bible exaltations, but I didn’t prepare anything, but thankfully my creativity kicks in and I am able to speak for close to two minutes before going back to my seat. Everyone did pretty good, and after, the activity for next week was announced and the meeting ended. I had to stay back and work the projector as the devotion leaders for tomorrow practiced.

Practice ended at 7, and I wasted no time in going home, I jumped back online, I decided against blogging but I used the free time I had to make various changes to the blog. I stopped for a little after 9 and started watching : The Pirate Bay: Away From Keyboard. It is a documentary on a trial that the owners of pirate bay were involved in, because of pirated movies. It is in Swedish so if you are going to watch, try and get subs.

The movie finished sometime close to 11, and I went out and did the dishes before I came back and continued messing with my blog some more. I browsed for a bit some more but my net went down for a little after 12 and I decided to go to bed.

Quote #141 Good Things Happen

Middle of the week, and I am reminded that tomorrow is Valentines, and for me, a single person, it isn’t one of my most favorite days. I had school today and of course I got ready and arrived on time. My only class for the day was Renewable Energy Technology and despite me hating the timing of the subject, the class was great and it ended early, another plus.

I got home for a little after 1, and lucky for me my mom had just finished cooking, so I ate lunch, before I got down to blogging. I had been a couple of days behind in my blogging and had a couple of journal posts to do as well as some tutorials. I decided to take care of the tutorials first as they take very little time to do when compared with journal posts.

I never finished my blogging until 7pm, and I had quickly start an assignment, I had to do (hand written), after I searched high and low, I got what I was looking for and finished for close to 9. I had been chatting with a friend, and we were talking about books, when the book Fifty Shades Of Grey, came up (mentioned by me). I asked her to send me a copy, because I am a sucker for a good romance / erotic novel.

I took to twitter shortly after, and thanked her, and then tweeted for a bit, before I cuddled up with my pillow and started reading. I finished the first two chapters before I called it a night, as I had school at 8 tomorrow and it was already 1 am. I forgot I had some music downloading and I was waiting on the final one to finish, when I passed out and woke up for close to 3am and turned off the computer and went back to sleep.

Beginners Guides to InDesign

“InDesign is a powerful design program with so many tools and features it can a bit tricky to find a topic to begin with. With this in mind, we’ve put together a collection of beginner guides on various InDesign topics like the best way to create a new document, how to import text and images and even useful advice on what to do when a document is corrupted and how to make comments and track changes. Work your way through the guides and you will be well on your way to mastering InDesign.”

.: Jumping into the world of print media, InDesign is probably one the best programs for such projects, it has a wide array of tools specially arranged to provide you with the easiest and fastest solutions, and also save you time. This program is extremely helpful, when designing magazine / newspaper layouts and anything else along those lines (I have never used InDesign), because most of my work is Digital, and what isn’t are just scribblings on paper. These tutorials are geared towards getting you from where you are (knowing nothing) to knowing a lot more than nothing, plus they are free.
